As a church, group we are dedicated, and pay particular attention to every detail. Our approach is rooted in love and integrity. We strive to ensure that everything we do reflects our commitment to directs people to the Lord. It is our desire to assist in their spiritual growth. As a result, we pray they will be filled with hope and growth.

Hope Temple INC is inspired by the love of God, people, and His creation. Our mission is to see people fulfill all that God has called them to do. We will serve the Jacksonville, NC area with love, by revealing Jesus in the earth. We are here to assist you with love, deliverance, spiritual growth, and the fulfillment of God's purpose for your lives.

Rev. Roger E. Hyman Sr., and Rev. Dr. LaWanda M. Hyman
Rev. Roger E. Hyman Sr.
Rev. Roger E. Hyman, Sr., a native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, has faithfully served the Lord since surrendering his life to Christ at the age of sixteen. From the moment of his salvation, he boldly shared his testimony, witnessing God’s transformative power in the lives of his family and community. Ordained to preach the Gospel in 1974, Rev. Hyman has dedicated his life to ministry, previously pastoring Mission Temple in Wilmington, NC. Answering God’s call once again, he now serves as Co-Pastor of Hope Temple, Inc. alongside his wife, Rev. Dr. LaWanda M. Hyman. Together, they are committed to spreading the message of hope, salvation, and spiritual growth to all.
Rev. Dr. LaWanda M. Hyman
Rev. Dr. LaWanda M. Hyman, a native of Altheimer, Arkansas, has dedicated her life to serving God and His people. After relocating to Jacksonville, North Carolina, in 1983, she gave her life to Christ in 1989 under the ministry of Rev. Errett Marshburn at Christian Life Fellowship PFWB Church. During her 22 years of faithful service there, she ministered as a Sunday School Teacher, Girl’s Auxiliary Leader, Praise Team member, and Associate Pastor.
In 2011, Rev. Dr. Hyman followed God’s call to plant The Eagle’s Nest PFWB Church, where she served as Senior Pastor until 2015. Today, she serves alongside her husband as Co-Pastor of Hope Temple, Inc., where they are passionately building a ministry rooted in faith, love, and community.
